A poster (available here) published by Public Health England highlights how measles is not just a kids problem.
The infection can be passed to vulnerable patients such as the immunocompromised and pregnant women. As a result they should be in area where they cannot pass the infection onto these groups.
Teenagers, young adults and anyone who has missed their MMR vaccination can get measles. Symptoms include:
High fever
Rash – sometimes starting around the ears
Sore red eyes
Cough
Aching and feeling unwell
