Age UK Islington – Information and advice service is changing

From Monday 1 May people will be able to contact Age UK’s information advice service by: emailing, calling from 09:00 – 17:00 or visiting from 10:00 – 16:00, Monday – Friday at the contact centre at 9 Manor Gardens.

The team will triage all enquiries, going on to provide three possible levels of support.

  1. Level 1 – Providing information and helping people to understand information they have been sent by others.

  2. Level 2 – Suggesting strategies to tackle problems, offering reassurance and setting out possible next steps.

  3. Level 3 – Case work support for people who have more complex issues and limited coping skills, helping them to get their life back on track and develop resilience to cope better in the future.

Over the next few months Age UK Islington will also be using its links with partner agencies to offer positive and proactive information sessions. These will cover a range of topics aimed at supporting people to self-help and promoting wellness.

If you know someone who could use Age UK’s help – get in touch by either:

  1. Call: 020 7281 6018

  2. Email: gethelp@ageukislington.org.uk
